Board Basics Workshop
As the governing body, the board of directors is accountable for the
effectiveness of its humane society, SPCA, or other non-profit animal welfare group.
Yet few boards operate at their full potential.
A small group of thoughtful people could change the world.
Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.
~ Margaret Mead
American Cultural Anthropologist
Conducted by Dr. Jane Mahlow, Board Basics
is a one-day workshop that gives board members
the tools they need to be productive stewards of
their small– or medium-sized animal shelters.
